PhD

General Information

During the development of the doctoral thesis, the doctoral student can carry out short stays at other centers, as long as it is considered that they are aimed at improving their doctoral training. For this, the approval of the CAPD (Academic Commission of the Doctoral Programme) must be obtained, upon proposal of the thesis supervisor/s, who must explain the reasons for said stay. Stays should not exceed a period of three months per year, except in exceptional cases considered as such by the supervisor/s and approved by the CAPD, due to their interest in the doctoral student's training. The Doctoral Programme does not cover any expenses derived from these stays.

The supervisor of the activity carried out during the stay must issue a report on the degree of utilization and training acquired by the doctoral student during it. The doctoral student must register this activity in the Activity Document, together with the report issued by the supervisor, for its validation, assessment and evaluation.
