Entry Profile
The Doctoral Programme is primarily aimed at students with academic training and competencies acquired in a University Master's degree, preferably of a scientific-technical nature, related to Chemical and Process Engineering, which includes:
- High level of knowledge and understanding of the scientific and technological foundations of processes and products.
- Ability to perform advanced engineering calculations and analyses.
- Ability to optimise processes.
- Ability to understand and relate abstract concepts.
- Ability to identify, formulate and solve complex problems in the presence of risk and uncertainty.
These skills may be applied to facilities, equipment, processes and projects that include situations in which matter undergoes changes in morphology, composition, state, enthalpy or reactivity.
Knowledge of English is also recommended, as it will be used for consulting bibliographic references, searching for information, and presenting results in international publications and conferences.
