Grants and Mobility
Within the Doctoral Program in Advanced Chemistry, student mobility is encouraged through stays in other research centers. Before carrying out the stay, students must request the approval of the Academic Committee. The application must include a report from the director stating the objectives of the stay and its relevance for the development of training and predoctoral research. Stays in centers of recognized prestige will be authorized if the training value of the same is accredited. The corresponding training activity in the doctoral program requires the completion of at least one three-month stay in a research center outside the UCM. Given the need for funding, this activity will not be mandatory. Once the stay has been completed, the doctoral student must submit an explanatory report to the academic committee, which must be approved by the latter if it considers that the corresponding training and research objectives have been met.
