María Nieto

Research collaborator


María Nieto Rodríguez has a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) (2019) and a Master's degree in General Health Psychology from the same university (2021).

She obtained a collaboration grant from the UCM (2019-2020) in the Department of Personality, Assessment and Clinical Psychology. Thanks to it, she has collaborated in different projects of the Complutense Research Group in Victimology (VICTIM-UCM), directed by Dr. María Crespo, such as "Validation of the CIT: Trauma Impact Questionnaire", "Post-traumatic stress and violence against women in the couple: preliminary study for the development and evaluation of a treatment focused on positive memories" and "Gender violence in immigrant population: identification of barriers and needs in women of Romanian origin".

She has complemented her official studies with specialized training in psychological care for victims, specifically of terrorist attacks and gender violence. She has recently completed the Diploma of Specialized Practical Training in Immediate Telematic Psychological Care in the PsiCall UCM service, attending the psychosocial needs of the university community and giving workshops to students.
