Andrea Cuesta García

PhD Student


Graduated in Psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2018) and Master in General Health Psychology from the UCM (2020), she has been awarded a collaboration grant in the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Clinical Psychology of the same university in the 2018-19 academic year. He has collaborated on different research projects in the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Clinical Psychology, related to exposure to traumatic situations. She has also participated in telephone assessment interviews with victims of terrorism, as well as in the study of the contribution of psychology in this field, together with the team of the "Task Force on Terrorism", created by the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP).

She is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Psychology under the tutelage of Professor Maria Crespo, developing her thesis on Gender Violence in Immigrant Population in order to identify barriers and needs of women. She has been collaborating with the Victimology Research Group (VICTIM) since 2017.
