Andrea Cuesta García

Assistant Professor


Graduate in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (2018) and Master in General Health Psychology from the UCM (2020), she has been awarded a collaboration grant in the Department of Personality, Assessment and Clinical Psychology in the 2018-19 academic year. She has collaborated in different research projects related to exposure to traumatic situations with the Victimology Research Group (VICTIM) since 2017, of which she is currently a team member.

In addition, she has several experience in telephone assessment and intervention in crisis and emergency situations. She has been part of the Telephone Service of First Psychological Attention in response to COVID-19 (COP, 2020), has participated in conducting assessment interviews with victims of terrorism with the Task Force on Terrorism (IAAP) team and she is a volunteer counsellor at "Fundación ANAR" since 2021. 

She is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Personality, Assessment and Clinical Psychology and combines teaching and research tasks, carrying out her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. María Crespo on Intimate Partner Violence in immigrant population.
