María de los Ángeles Fromow Rangel

María de los Ángeles Fromow Rangel is professor of Administrative Law, Criminal Penal Code and of Legal and Political Structure of the Mexican State, in the School of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

She is a lawyer specialized in several fields, being the current general director of the legal consulting firm, MAF & Assoc. She excels for her experience in the public sector as chief of The Special Prosecutor's Office for Electoral Offenses (FEPADE) of the Republic of Mexico. In addition, she has held the position of Special Coordinator and Liaison for Social Participation and has taken part in the Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Criminal Justice System.

Currently, she is improving as an expert in the diagnostic, design, advocacy, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive strategies in political, legal and legislative topics that, thanks to the impulse given to tactics that benefit the social, public or private domains, their commitment and responsibility, enable her to achieve solid results.

She has been the recipient of various awards and honors for her professional career and her contribution to the culture of law, human rights, democracy, government and the implementation of penal reform. She is currently working in a project promoted by the British government that seeks to strengthen the rule of law and the fight against corruption at the local and federal levels in Mexico.
