Admission requirements for masters
Non-enabling university masters
- Be in possession of any of the following titles:
- Spanish official university degree.
- Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
- Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
- Students from foreign educational systems, whose mother tongue is different from Spanish, must prove level B2 of the Spanish language (or higher).

Supporting Documentation:
- National identity card (DNI), passport, NIE
- Curriculum Vitae with the applicant's academic and professional training.
- Legalised transcript of the holder's record, translated into Spanish.
- Specific requirements stated for each master, if any.
- Students that are about to obtain the bachelor degree (before September 30) must fill in the “Statement of degree”.
- Students with a Non-Spanish degree must submit:
- Certificate of equivalence of the GPA. If you have queries about this procedure make contact with notamedia.uni@mecd.es.
- Certificate of access to Postgraduate/master degreess
- Non-EEES area: Students must meet one of these requirements:
- Approval of their university degree issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
- Equivalence to foreign higher education qualifications and academic degree or masters level university official branches of knowledge in specific fields issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
- Authorisation or access permit provided by Universidad Complutense.
- Citizens of non-Spanish speaking countries must hand in a B2 level certificate of Spanish language. Valid certificates of Spanish language
Exceptions:
a. Those who have studied in a Spanish-speaking education system.
b. Those who apply for a master taught entirely in English.

Evaluation criteria
The evaluation criteria for admission to the Master's programme are as follows:
- Academic record in the entrance qualification (65%)
- Curriculum vitae (15%)
- Suitability of the candidate’s background for the Master’s objectives (5%)

If needed, a personal interview will be held (10%)
A 5% of the places will be reserved for disabled people with ≥33% handicap and 3% for high level sportsmen and women.
The resolution of the admission process shall correspond to the Rector, or Vice Rector delegated by him/her, and shall be carried out in accordance with what results from the application of the rules, priorities and evaluation criteria established in these regulations. It will be carried out by means of a procedure in accordance with criteria of merit, equality and capacity.
In the case of students with specific educational needs derived from disability, each Center shall proceed to the study of possible curricular adaptations, itineraries or alternative studies, and shall include the appropriate support and counseling services.
