Master´s thesis / Trabajo Fin de Máster
Objectives of the Master's Thesis
The objective of the Master's Thesis is to provide students with the opportunity to carry out a research project in the area of Molecular Biology of Cancer, allowing them to assimilate and apply the knowledge acquired during their degree program. Students will work in a laboratory within a university, hospital, or corporate research unit, with the ultimate goal of advancing their research skills. Students are expected to understand and apply concepts, tools, and methodologies in cancer research, enabling them to develop an integrated understanding of the latest scientific advances in this field. Furthermore, students should be able to quantify, analyze, and critically evaluate the results obtained; use scientific and technical literature search systems effectively; and conduct statistical analyses. Finally, students are expected to develop the ability to clearly and unambiguously present the results of their scientific research in a written report, as well as communicate the conclusions drawn from their work. Ultimately, the aim is that throughout the development of the Master's Thesis, the student can learn autonomously and carry out critical analyses that allow him to acquire scientific maturity in the field of Molecular Biology of Cancer.
