First semester 

 

Module I: MOLECULAR BASIS OF CANCER (12 ECTS)

Subjects (all compulsory):

• Molecular biology of cancer (6 ECTS)
• Basic and preclinical cancer research methodologies (3 ECTS)
• Cancer risk factors and cancer as a hereditary disease (3 ECTS)

Module II: MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY (10 ECTS, of which 7 ECTS are taught)

Subjects (all compulsory):

• Molecular oncology and cancer treatment (7 ECTS, of which 3 ECTS are taught)
• Molecular bases for cancer diagnosis and molecular pathology techniques (3 ECTS)

Module III: TRANSVERSAL KNOWLEDGE IN MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY (12 ECTS)

Subjects (all compulsory):

• Bioinformatics: application to molecular oncology (6 ECTS)
• Clinical trials and translational research in oncology (6 ECTS)

Second semester 

 

Module II: MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY (10 ECTS, of which 4 ECTS are taught)

• Molecular oncology and cancer treatment (7 ECTS, of which 4 ECTS are taught)

 Module IV: INTRODUCTION TO ONCOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND MASTER'S THESIS

• Introduction to research (2 ECTS)
• Master's Thesis (24 ECTS)
