Functions of the Academic commission

  • Planning the temporal arrangement of the subjects that make up the Master's degree, as well as proposing to the Faculty of Pharmacy the scheduling of teaching hours and exam dates.
  • Facilitate contact between students enrolled in the Master's program and research groups (UCM or external) for the completion of their Master's Thesis (TFM).
  • Approve the assignment of tutors and co-tutors (if applicable) for the Master's Thesis.
  • Prepare the forms and templates for completing the Master's Thesis and for preparing the report of the academic tutor and/or co-tutor on the Master's Thesis.
  • Propose a Master's Thesis Evaluation Committee (members and alternates).
  • Review the fulfillment of the objectives proposed in the title and prepare the Master's monitoring reports.
  • Provide information about the degree through the Master's website.
  • To carry out the admission of new students in the different admission periods opened by the UCM, applying the evaluation criteria approved by the Faculty Board, which are accessible on the UCM and Master's websites.
  • To support and guide newly admitted students in the Master's program, with special attention to those involved in mobility programs, both international and within Spain.
