trescientosmil is a pioneering think-tank operating at the intersection of arts, science, and technology.

Our work brings together a commitment to addressing the new disruptions reshaping our world—with the aim of building more inclusive, fair, healthy, and prosperous societies—and the urgent need to improve the cities and territories we inhabit by diagnosing their challenges and envisioning their futures. We work to make change possible by identifying the desirable futures we want to move toward.

We draw on extensive experience gained through collaborations with leading public authorities and urban actors worldwide to assess and innovate in the process of data-driven policy-making.

Our practice has been recognised for its innovation and social impact by institutions such as the International Union of Architects (Honourable Mention Patrick Abercrombie Prize 2023), the European Commission (S+T+ARTS Prize 2019), and the Spanish National Urban Planning Award (2019), among others.

Our work has been exhibited at prominent international cultural institutions, including Ars Electronica Festival (2021 and 2019), BOZAR Brussels (2020), the Art Institute of Chicago (2015), and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (2013). We have also produced original content for the Venice Architecture Biennale, featured in both the Catalan Pavilion (Air/Aire/Aria, 2021) and the Ukrainian Pavilion.

Our team members have lectured at leading academic institutions across Europe—including EPFL Lausanne, TU Braunschweig, the Welsh School of Architecture, and the Polytechnic University of Barcelona—and regularly participate in sector-relevant debates and conferences.

trescientosmil was co-founded and is directed by Pablo Martínez and Mar Santamaria, with the support of Ana Badenas and Gonzalo Díaz.
