Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Havana University (Cuba) and a Master’s Degree in Physics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Rio de Janeiro, including an internship at Van der Graaf Laboratory (Brazil, 2003) and a PhD in Chemical Sciences from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2008).
