Manqinq Qiu

Manquing Qui is a Professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology. She is an expert in the history of social media with a gender perspective. She has a PhD (Cum Laude) from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) as a result of her work on The Cuban War: Press and Journalism in Spain. An Analysis From Different Perspectives.

She participated in numerous courses related to communication and gender such as the Summer Course "Comprehensive attention in gender violence" (2019) of the UCM, the Summer Course "Intervention in Gender Violence from Different Professions" (2016) of the UCM, the Summer Workshop “Scientific journalism: telling science” (2016) of the Menéndez Pelayo International University, the Summer Course “Mujeres, Comunicación y Conflictos Armados: De la I GM a Nuestros Días” (2014) of the UCM or Summer Course “Comunicación y género. Mujeres Informadoras e Información sobre mujeres ”(2013) from the UCM.
