Victoria Pascual

My name is Victoria Pascual and I am currently pursuing a PhD in English Linguistics at Complutense University of Madrid under the supervision of Elena Domínguez Romero. I hold an EdM in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) from Boston University, a CELTA from Cambridge University and a Law Degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

I have been an EFL teacher in secondary education (grades 7-12) in Spain for the last 12 years. I have lived and worked in London, Paris, Boston and Madrid. My main areas of research are Visual Literacy in secondary education, second language acquisition, curriculum development, and the creative and meaningful use of video through students’ own productions.

I am a member of the Visual Arts Circle, ELTImagemakers and TESOL Spain. I also collaborate with publishers in the production of materials for English coursebooks.

As a speaker, I have taken part in the following conferences:

-       TESOL Spain, Salamanca (March 2020)
