Graziella Trovato (Ragusa, Italy). PhD in Architecture (cum laude 2004) and Master in Architectural and Urban Heritage by the UPM. Associate Professor i3 Excellence of the Architectural Composition Department, Academic Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Architectural Communication (DOCA), and Cultural Landscape Research Group member (GIPC, since 2009) (ETSAM - UPM). She has 3 research periods (sexenios in Spanish) awarded by the CNEAI). She has been Delegate of the Director for the Coordination of the Degree (2017-2020) and Erasmus Tutor since 2009. Associate Professor and International Relations at UCJC (2005-2008/2014-2017).

She is the author of the books Madrid entre río y raíles. Pasado, presente y futuro del Pasillo Verde Ferroviario [Madrid between river and rails. Past, present and future of the Railway Greenway Corridor] (Ed. Lampreave, Madrid, 2022) and Des-velos: autonomía de la envolvente en la arquitectura contemporánea [De-veiling: autonomy of the envelope in contemporary architecture] (Akal, Madrid, 2007). She curated the exhibition Architetti italiani in Spagna oggi with the Cervantes Institute in Rome and AIAC (Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism). She has collaborated in several collective works such as Ciudades posibles [Possible Cities] (Lengua de Trapo, Madrid, 2003) and Torre de Cristal [Cystal Tower] (Turner, 2010).

Since 1998 he has been working with Luis Moya, with whom he has carried out projects on different scales such as the Fuerteventura Island Plan (Canary Islands 1998-99), the Valdebernardo Park in Madrid (inaugurated in 2007) and the Cataloguing of Contemporary, Industrial and Commercial Architecture for the revision of the General Plan of Madrid (2014-2015).
