Rules of permanence

The rules of permanence that govern the Complutense University of Madrid were approved by its Governing Council in its session of November 14, 2008 (BOUC Nº 14, 20-XI-2008).

The Universidad Complutense de Madrid offers the possibility of studying under two different types of enrolment:

  • Full time: student can follow the full-time study mode, enrolling 36 or more credits in one academic year. Those who start the studies must enrol in a compulsory full-time mode, except for students with disabilities.
  • Part time: students can follow the part-time study mode, enrolling in less than 60 credits in an academic year. Those who enrol in this modality must register at least 18 credits in the academic year, unless they have less credits to finish their studies.
  • Students with disabilities are not subjected to minimum enrolment limit fixed by the University

Spanish.

Minimum Spanish level requirement B1 level   (Pre-admission with lower level is possible provided the student completes Spanish language courses before the course starts).
