Enrolment for students at the Complutense University of Madrid falls under two categories:

  • Full-time: students can study full-time and must enrol with at least 36 credits or more in an academic year. Students beginning their studies are obliged to enrol full-time, with the exception of stipulations for students with disabilities.
  • Part-time: students may study part-time, enrolling with a maximum of 60 credits in an academic year. Students registered part-time must enrol at all times with a minimum of 18 credits in the academic year, unless they have fewer credits left to conclude their studies.
  • The University’s minimum enrolment requirements do not apply to students with disabilities.
