Yesica Rebollar Crespo is a last year undergraduate student at the Complutense University of Madrid, pursuing a degree in English Studies. During her undergraduate years she has been engaged with the English Department of English Studies, Linguistics and Literature as a student representative, as well as taking part in the Innovative Teaching Project “Intermedia Lab: iniciación a la publicación académica y a la gestión editorial y cultural.” Additionally, she has collaborated as a volunteer with the Organization Committee of the EAAS 2022 Conference “Wastelands” in Madrid, organized by the European Association for American Studies (EAAS) and hosted by the UNED.

Since 2022 she is part of the peer-review board in the Journal of Artistic Creation and Literary Research (JACLR), where she published her first article in the field of feminist literary research " The Angel vs the Monster: Dichotomization of Identity in The Bell Jar” early in the same year.

Her principal areas of academic research and literary interests include American and British Contemporary Fiction, particularly Postmodernism; Gender Studies and International Studies, with special interest on the field of Transatlantic Studies.

Yesica Rebollar Crespo es una estudiante de último año de Estudios Ingleses en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Durante sus años de estudiante se ha involucrado en el Departamento de Estudios Ingleses, Lingüística y Literatura como representante de estudiantes y en el Proyecto de Innovación Docente “Intermedia Lab: iniciación a la publicación académica y a la gestión editorial y cultural”. Además, ha colaborado como voluntaria en el comité de organización de la conferencia “Wastelands” celebrada por la Asociación Europea de Estudios Norteamericanos (EAAS)  celebrada en la UNED en 2022.

Desde 2022 forma parte de la revista Journal of Artistic Creation and Literary Research (JACLR) como revisora, en la que publicó su primer artículo en el campo de investigación feminista " The Angel vs the Monster: Dichotomization of Identity in The Bell Jar” a principios de ese mismo año.

Entre sus principales áreas de interés académico e investigación se encuentran la ficción contemporánea, tanto en América como en Gran Bretaña, movimientos literarios como el Postmodernismo, estudios de género y estudios internacionales (con especial interés en estudios transatlánticos).
