On October 11, 2024, Bárbara Sánchez participated in the Doctoral Student Conference at the Faculty of Optics and Optometry at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a meeting that aims to promote scientific dissemination and the exchange of experiences among doctoral students.

During the oral presentation session, Bárbara presented an introduction to her research project, currently in its early stages of development. In her presentation, she outlined the objectives, motivation, and initial methodological guidelines of her work, thus contributing to strengthening the communication skills of doctoral students and enriching scientific debate within the Faculty.

 

 

LI National Lighting Symposium (CEI)

 

Between May 21 and 23, 2025, several members of the Lighting and Color Group attended the 51th National Lighting Symposium, organized by the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI) and held in Logroño.

During the symposium, we presented our work within our research lines on cultural heritage and technologies applied to conservation. The event was an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues in the sector, establish new contacts, and learn about advances in other areas of lighting.

We particularly highlight the high technical level of the presentations and the multidisciplinary approach that characterized the various sessions, which reinforces the importance of dialogue between different fields of knowledge.
