Geopolítica(s): a Journal on Space and Politics

We publish original and unedited articles by researchers, giving preference to works that make a genuine theoretical or methodolological contribution to the study of the relationship betwen space and power, especially in Latin America and the countries of Iberia.  We publish articles across various  fields of research, including geopolitics, but also the rest of the social sciences, as long as they develop a spatial perspective in their analyses.  Likewise, Geopolitics advocates for scientific pluralism, both in what it references with regards to research in geopolitics, and in different epistemological, methodological, and technical perspectives.  In this sense, the journal is equally open to different theoretical and methodological critiques without giving priority to traditional geopolitics, and encourages its authors to write articles that evaluate the relative merits of different theoretical and methodological approaches to explain poltical empirical phenomena.
