Biografía/Biography

 

Licenciada en Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2005) y en Comunicación Audiovisual por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2013). Master en Dirección y Producción de Cine Documental por la Universidad de Alcalá (2014). Doctorado en Conflicto Político y procesos de pacificación, tesis doctoral titulada: “Paisajes migrantes en la frontera estirada. La condición postcolonial de la frontera hispano-marroquí”, dirigida por el Prof. Dr. Heriberto Cairo Carou, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2016). Ha realizado estancias de investigación en: Ethnic Studies Department, University of Berkeley California (2007/08); Nijmegen Centre for Border Research, Radboud University Holanda (2010); Département de Géographie, Université Abdelmalek Essaâdi Marruecos (2011). Líneas de investigación: Geografía política y cultural, teorías postcoloniales, estudios de fronteras, arte fronterizo, Marruecos, Mediterráneo.

 

Bachelor on Political Science (2005, Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Visual Studies (2013, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid). MA on Direction and Production of Documentary Cinema (2014, Universidad de Alcalá). PhD dissertation entitled “Migrant landscapes in the stretched border. The postcolonial condition of the Spanish-Moroccan Border”, directed by Prof. Dr. Heriberto Cairo Carou (2016, Universidad Complutense de Madrid). She has been visiting reasearcher at the Ethnic Studies Department, University of Berkeley California (2007/08); Nijmegen Centre for Border Research, Radboud University Holanda (2010); Département de Géographie, Université Abdelmalek Essaâdi Marruecos (2011). She is interested on politics of visuality, postcolonial academic activism, political and cultural geographies, border-art, Morocco and the Mediterranean region.
