Pre-Registration Process

Pre-Registration and Admission Process

The State Universities at Madrid (Universidad de Alcalá,Universidad Autónoma, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Complutense, Universidad Politécnica and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) are considered as a sole university and therefore a single district.

  • You must submit your application form online
  • Only a single application must be filled out for the whole district
  • Documents required are to be handed in either at each Admissions Office of the university where the desired degree is offered or sent by certified mail ( attested copies are required in this case)
  • Places will be allocated according to the following criteria: higher admission score and admission test date (prevailing present year)
  • Applications in September will only be considered if there are any vacancies resulting from the admission process in June.
  • Only vacancies resulting from admission process in June will be offered in September

Except for students older than 25 who must apply for admission to every university in which they are interested and for students older than 40 and 50 who must submit the application at the university where they did the entrance test

1% of all places are reserved for university students, 3% for athletes, 3% for students older than 25, 1% for students older than 45 and 1% for students older than 40 with professional accreditation.
