León Cardenal Pujals (1878-1960)

 

After graduating in Medicine from the University of Barcelona in 1901, he earned his doctoral degree from the University of Madrid in 1903. He served in the General Welfare Institution of Madrid in the field of clinical medicine. In 1913, he held the position of Professor of Surgical Pathology in the Faculty of Medicine of Madrid. Later, he was appointed Director of "Hospital Clínico y Academico" and was a member of the Academy of Medicine. He served as Rector from 1934 to 1936.
