Spanish Course for UCM Students
Course Details
This course is intended for international university students who wish to improve their oral comprehension of Spanish in order to follow academic classes, as well as their written expression for preparing research papers or exams.
The course aims to:
- Improve grammar
- Enhance listening comprehension
- Develop academic writing skills
- Strengthen exam preparation
- Expand vocabulary
Students may choose between a 40-hour or a 70-hour course.
This course also offers the possibility of earning ECTS credits for undergraduate students at UCM:
- 40 hours: 2.5 ECTS credits for undergraduate students.
- 70 hours: 4 ECTS credits for undergraduate students.
Spanish Course Contents
- Grammar and Spanish practice
- Listening and speaking comprehension
- Reading and writing comprehension
Teaching Staff
All teachers are university graduates and specialists in teaching Spanish as a foreign language
Placement Test
The placement test is conducted online approximately 15 days before the course begins to assign each student to the appropriate level.
Course Certificate
A diploma is awarded upon successful completion of the course, which requires passing the final assessment and fulfilling the regular attendance requirement.
