october 2026

9 oct 2026 - 09:25 CET

Dear María Vallet-Regí,

I am pleased to let you know that Research.com has released the 2026 Edition of its Ranking of Top 1000 Female Scientists in the World, and that you have been included:

The ranking is based on the D-index (discipline H-index), calculated from data gathered across multiple bibliometric sources. Its purpose is to give greater visibility to the scientific achievements of women, who remain underrepresented in many research rankings.

You can view the Spain ranking here and the full world ranking here.

Please feel free to share this recognition in any way you wish, including the award image above.

If you would like your university´s communications or press office to feature this achievement, I would be glad to provide them, at no cost, with a ready-to-publish press release and news article. Just reply with the best contact person and I will take care of the rest.

Congratulations once again!
