International School on Light Sciences and Technologies (ISLiST)

June,  20-24, 2022, Santander, Spain

It is our pleasure to announce that we can now offer several ISLiST grants, funded by the companies sponsoring the ISLiST summer school. The grants are mainly intended for international students that cannot apply to the official UIMP grants for EU nationals, although any Bachelor, Master and PhD Student can apply.

The ISLiST grants cover course registration fee, accommodation and living expenses for five days, from Sunday, June, 20 to Friday, June, 24. please note that travel expenses are not covered.

Due date for applications: May, 15, 2022.

Notification of grants assignments (by email): May, 18, 2022.

International Students should send an email to ISLiST Secretary (Adolfo Cobo, islist@unican.es) with the following information:

1. CV/Resumé.
2. Academic Certification/s (indicating your average mark/s on a 10 point scale). If you have received an honors degree, please attach the corresponding certificate. A document certifying your current condition as student should also be included.
3. Short Personal Statement (one paragraph): we would like to hear your comments regarding your motivation to participate in the ISLIST Summer School, as well as you main research interests.
4. (optional) Student Advisor’s Recommendation Letter: we will also take into account a letter from your advisor supporting your application to participate in the ISLIST Summer School.

All the above required documents must be submitted by email to:   ISLiST Secretary, Adolfo Cobo (islist@unican.es) not later than the 15^th of May, 2022.

Please note that international students that cannot apply to the official UIMP grants will be prioritized.
