Best wishes, Francesca ————————————— *CUI Female Talent PhD Fellowship - Hamburg University* In the framework of the Female Talent Fellowship launched by the CUI (Cluster of Excellence: Advanced Imaging of Matter, Universität Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany), the CFEL-ATTO group is looking for a highly motivated and talented female PhD candidate. If successful, the candidate will be awarded a PhD fellowship for 3 years starting as early as March 2022. The CFEL-ATTO group lead by Prof. Francesca Calegari develops advanced laser technology (few-femtosecond/attosecond sources from the UV to the soft-x) for the investigation of the electron dynamics in complex systems including biomolecules, clusters and nanoparticles. Every member of the group is involved in an exciting and enjoyable scientific environment and encouraged to contribute with new ideas and smart solutions independently on her/his level of career. Our group is a good representer of the high-level, international and transversal environment provided by the Centre of Free-Electron Science (CFEL) and, more generally, by the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) and Universität Hamburg.
