Bilingual Trainee Patent Applications, Madrid

We are a subsidiary of one of Europe’s best-regarded intellectual property specialists looking for a reliable bilingual Trainee to join our team on a fix basis. We are looking for someone with a strong background (BSc/Msc) in physics, bioengineering or similar to join the Madrid office.

The trainee will join the IT team, and will assist in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications relating to computer implemented inventions (CIIs), including CIIs in the medical field, artificial intelligence and cryptography.

The role will also involve work in related fields such as medical devices and optics. Excellent command of English required. Previous labor experience is not required.

The ideal candidate must be able to manage strict deadlines, be meticulous with attention to detail and be able to effectively prioritise a full workload.
