En una mezcla entre presentación de libro, conferencia-performance, charla de artistas y lectura literaria, Laura Paloma y Ezequiel Soriano presentarán su libro de bajo contenido autoeditado: A Quest in Sandals (2025). Mitad en inglés y mitad en español, leerán pasajes del libro, ofrecerán una visión del proceso creativo, analizarán el marco conceptual que subyace a la obra y reflexionarán sobre el papel de la «shitpublishing» en el panorama político actual.

A Quest in Sandals: Creative Challenges to Unleash the Joy of Discovering New Perspectives / Suche in Sandalen: Kreative Herausforderungen, um neue Lebensperspektiven zu entdecken (2025) es un libro de bajo contenido escrito por Laura Paloma y Ezequiel Soriano, con un epílogo de Andreas Bülhoff. En lugar de pedirle a ChatGPT que escribiera un libro de bajo contenido por ella, Paloma envió sus indicaciones a Soriano, quien desempeñó el papel de asistente del chatbot, respondiéndole con el estilo y el lenguaje del LLM, acompañándola a lo largo del proceso de redacción y maquetación de la publicación. Su deseo era imitar el proceso de trabajo de un creador de libros de bajo contenido y generar, maquetar y comercializar su propia publicación de bajo contenido. Juntos han escrito un libro de actividades con temática veraniega para adultos superdotados que ya está a la venta en inglés y alemán en plataformas de venta online locales suizas y que ha sido publicado en línea como objeto digital por etkbooks aquí.

In a mix between book presentation, lecture performance, artist talk, and literary reading, Laura Paloma and Ezequiel Soriano will present their self-published Low-Content Book: A Quest in Sandals (2025). Half in English half in Spanish, they will read passages from the book, give insight into the creative process, discuss the conceptual framework behind the work, and reflect on the role of “shitpublishing” in the current political climate.

A Quest in Sandals: Creative Challenges to Unleash the Joy of Discovering New Perspectives / Suche in Sandalen: Kreative Herausforderungen, um neue Lebensperspektiven zu entdecken (2025) is a Low-Content Book written by Laura Paloma and Ezequiel Soriano with an epilogue by Andreas Bülhoff. Instead of prompting ChatGPT to write a low-content book for her, Paloma sent her prompts to Soriano, who played the role of the Chatbot assistant, replying to her in the style and language of the LLM, accompanying her through the process of writing and laying out the publication. Their wish was to imitate the work process of a Low-Content Book creator and to generate, layout and market their own Low-Content publication. Together they have written a summer-themed activity book for gifted adults which is now on sale in English and German on local online Swiss market places and published online as a digital object by etkbooks here.
