DIRECTED BY: ANTONIO ALONSO RODRÍGUEZ

TERM:  October 2014 – December 2015

The Complutense Institute of International Studies (ICEI) has convened the 11th Edition of the Master´s Program in Gender and Development, offering specialized courses that combine excellent academic instruction with a field work phase (between 3-4 months) in Spain as well as other countries and regions in Latin America and Africa.

Given the growing demand for and study of the role of gender in development and international cooperation, ICEI has continued to offer this program since 1999.  The program´s expert staff includes scholars from nationally and internationally recognized universities and think tanks, as well as professional consultants from international organizations, public administration, and NGOs.

This year, the program has enjoyed the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), which has provided 15 endowments in the form of travel stipends to cover the costs of moving, insurance and lodging during the field work phase.
