El grupo de investigación de Hidrogeología y Medio Ambiente forma parte de los clústeres de "Patrimonio" y "Cambio Global y Nuevas Energías" del Campus de Excelencia Internacional. Sus investigadores trabajan actualmente en numerosos proyectos de investigación relacionados con el agua, tanto subterránea como superficial. Los proyectos, en los que participan los miembros del grupo junto a otros expertos, tratan aspectos diversos como la calidad y contaminación del agua, limnología, modelización de acuíferos, problemas medioambientales y legislación. A continuación se exponen algunos de los principales proyectos y resultados de investigación (publicaciones indexadas, tesis doctorales) de los últimos años.

The research group is integrated in two clusters of the Campus of International Excellence, namely, "Cultural heritage" and "Global change and new energies". Our researchers currently work on numerous water-related projects. These deal with a variety of fields, including water quality, contamination, limnology, hydrological modelling, environmental issues and water governance.
