Miguel Ángel Martín-Hervás is Lecturer (tenure track) in Literary Teaching at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and Director of the scientific journal Didáctica. Lengua y Literatura. He is Degreed in Spanish Language and Literature (Castilla-la Mancha University) with the distinction of First National End-of-Career Award granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (2012), and also PhD in Humanities, Arts and Education with the Extraordinary Award of PhD (2019).

He worked previously as Associate Lecturer at Complutense University of Madrid (2019-2021), International University of La Rioja (UNIR, 2019-2021) and Castilla-La Mancha University (UCLM, 2014). Likewise, he worked as Research Assistant at Social Sciences and Humanities Centre (Spanish National Research Council, CSIC, 2014-2018).

His research work can be synthesised in three lines: Literary Education, Children's and Youth Literature (19th-21st centuries) and Spanish Contemporary Literature. He is the author of the book Hacia la creación de una cultura e identidad nacionales: Azorín y su lectura de los clásicos (Madrid: Visor, 2017), and has published some papers in prestigious national and international journals as Rilce, Castilla, Hispanic Research Journal, Studi Ispanici or Bulletin of Hispanic Studies.
