Research

The SonoLAB|UCM team participates in research projects related to sound recording, music production, recorded sound heritage, performance studies, and the application of digital technologies to music analysis and communication. The laboratory also collaborates in educational innovation and knowledge transfer initiatives developed within the Department of Musicology and in partnership with other national and international institutions.

Depending on the specific characteristics of each project, our contribution may include the recording and digitization of sound sources, digital audio restoration, the analysis of recordings using specialized tools, the development of repositories and datasets, and the production of audio and audiovisual materials for research, teaching, and public dissemination.
