Sofía de la Cueva López es estudiante de Grado en Lenguas Modernas y sus Literaturas en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM).

Asimismo, es estudiante de Canto en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música Arturo Soria. 

Estuvo involucrada en el año 2018 en un proyecto de investigación en el área de Biociencias organizado por el Grupo de Investigación I+D+i. También participó en Agosto de 2022 en la Internationale Sommerakademie (Academia Internacional) “Sans Souci”, que tuvo lugar en la Universidad de Potsdam, Alemania. Ahí asistió a un curso intensivo de alemán compuesto por una combinación de cursos de idioma alemán, fonética aplicada, así como seminarios específicos sobre la historia alemana contemporánea y un taller de escritura y teatro en alemán.

Sus intereses académicos se centran en la educación. Específicamente, en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras como el inglés y el alemán. Por otro lado, está interesada en el estudio de métodos de enseñanza que permitan el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras en relación con la música y la expresión artística, más específicamente mediante el uso de la poesía y el teatro, y la enseñanza de fonética aplicada al canto.

Sofía de la Cueva López is a Modern Languages and Literatures degree student from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

She is also a singing student at the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory of Music.

In 2018 she was involved in a research project in Biosciences organized by the I+D+i Research Group. In August 2022 she also participated in the Internationale Sommerakademie (International Summer Academy) “Sans Souci”, which took place at the University of Potsdam, Germany. There she attended an intensive German course consisting of a combination of German language courses, applied phonetics, as well as specific seminars on contemporary German history and a German writing and drama workshop.

Her academic interests focus on education. Specifically, in the teaching of foreign languages such as English and German. On the other hand, she is interested in the study of teaching methods that allow the teaching of foreign languages in relation to music and artistic expression, more specifically through the use of poetry and theater, and the teaching of phonetics applied to singing.
