Estefanía Gisele Saavedra is currently doing her doctoral studies in the Literary Studies PhD program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has a degree in English Philosophy (2012) and she also holds a master´s degree in Medieval Studies (2013) from the same university. Her main research area is on Frankenstein (1818) by Mary Shelley and the hermetic tradition, especially alchemy. Likewise, her investigation revolves around the study on literature, science and social aspects in the Romantic period.

Estefanía Gisele Saavedra actualmente está realizando su tesis doctoral en el programa de Doctorado en Estudios literarios por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Es licencianda en filología inglesa (2012) y realizó un máster en Estudios Medievales (2013) en la misma universidad. Su principal área de estudio es Frankenstein (1818) de Mary Shelley y la tradición hermética, especialmente la alquimia. Asimismo, su investigación gira en torno a la literatura, política y aspectos sociales en el periodo romántico.
