Teaching innovation projects

Mentor-ING. Dates: 2019 - Present. Funding: INNOVA-UCM. A mentoring programme among teachers with and without experience in English-medium education (EME) in higher education which tries to contribute to the improvement of teaching quality and teacher training courses. MILES (formely: EngInHE) members participatingEmma Dafouz, Elena Orduna and Davinia Sánchez.

T-Co. Innova project UCM. Interdisciplinary programme (faculties of Philology and Business and Economics). This initative seeks to create a learning and communication community for teachers interested in incorporating English as a working tool in their classes. This project has run for three editions now (2021, 2022, 2023) and it will continue to take place in the forthcoming years.

Two2Tango - Tandems for teaching in English. Dates: 2017 - Present. Transnational online tandem teacher training programme designed to help teachers face the challenges and opportunities of the multilingual and multicultural learning space. It is coordinated by Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), and 
MILES (formely: EngInHE) research group members participate in it as facilitators since 2017.

Educational Quality at Universities for Inclusive International Programmes (EQUIIP)Dates: 2016 - 2019. Funding:. Erasmus+ program of the European Union. It is an Erasmus+ partnership consisting of seven European universities, which provides educational developers and teacher trainers with an integrated programme of Continuing Professional Development modules for use during the internationalisation of higher education, as well as an International Competence Profile for Educational Developers and a set of EQUiiP Recommendations.
