Juan Diego Barrado Daganzo
Bio
I obtained my Double Degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 2026. During the 2025–2026 academic year, I also collaborated with the MOMAT research group at UCM as a Research Assistant. Currently, I am a Research Staff Member (PLI) with the MOMAT research group at UCM while pursuing a Master's Degree in Mathematical Engineering at UCM.
Research interests
My research interests lie at the intersection of mathematical and computational modelling, simulation and scientific computing, optimisation, and data-driven methods. I am particularly interested in the use of machine learning and reinforcement learning for the analysis of complex systems and for decision-making and optimisation problems, including combinatorial optimisation and scheduling.
