Bio

I did my PhD in mathematics in 2004 at Univ. Complutense under the direction of Prof. L. Vázquez. I obtained a FPI grant. In this period, I studied the interactions between nonlinearity and non locality in waves equations. I visited the Institute of Mathematical Modelling at Danske Technical University and the Center for Nonlinear Studies in Los Alamos National Laboratory.

I obtained my doctor’s degree with the grade of ‘Sobresaliente (cum laude)’.

I have been working as High School professor from 1998, teaching Maths, Physics, IT, … at Colegio San Juan Bosco (Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid).

I have been working as a part-time Assistant Professor (Profesor Asociado) at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Analysis at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2005.

 

Research interests

Complex systems, nonlinear wave equations, stochastic processes, numerical schemes, Fractional Calculus, Martian studies, Martian atmosphere, electromagnetic radiation, nonlinear dynamics, data mining.
