28 June 2023. A contract between UCM and Tragsatec led by IMI member Juan Tinguaro Rodríguez González has been signed and it is now underway. The contract, entitled “Análisis de datos y estadística para llevar a cabo la definición de la estratificación y su ajuste tras el proceso de datos del INES, basándose en los resultados del INES 2019-2021 anterior”, aims to update different aspects of the statistical and data analysis methodology underlying Spain’s Soil Erosian National Inventory (INES) studies to be carried out in the next years, particularly focusing on the exploitation of data from the previous INES through predictive models to deliver nation-wide erosion maps. The contract team also includes IMI members Begoña Vitoriano Villanueva and Bibiana Granda Chico, with the external support of Ángela Cisneros Pascual through her internship in Tragasatec.
