Bio

Director of IMI since November 22nd, 2016. Full Professor at Complutense University of Madrid since 2018. PhD in Applied Mathematics since 1996. Academic visitor at University of Oxford (10,5 months) and at Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (Paris-Rocquencourt, France, 6 months). Researcher at Dassault Aviation (Paris, France, 3 months). Postdoctoral researcher at University of Houston (9 months).

 

Research interests

Mathematical modeling, analysis, optimization and simulation in Science, Technology and Industrial applications, mainly using Partial Differential Equations. Main fields of interests and applications: Epidemics, oil spills, lithium batteries, bioreactors.
