We hope that participating in a mentoring program is a great opportunity, particularly for telemacs. To get the most out of this experience, we suggest that you work on defining a personal career plan early in the process and use it to guide meetings with your mentors.
This plan can be the roadmap that should take you to the goal you want to achieve: you need to define where you want to go, what you need to get there, and how you are going to achieve it. We share with you a template that is basically aligned with the first topic so that you can address it at the beginning of the mentoring period (professional career aspirations). We encourage trainees to complete this template and update the file throughout subsequent meetings as needed.
This is not required, but we think it is a good way to summarize the findings and save any helpful feedback you receive from your mentor.
