Trip to Segovia.

Segovia, one of Spain’s most famous historic cities, is located at only 40 minutes’ drive from Madrid. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1985 due to its beauty and collection of historical monuments.

Price: €52.75

The trip starts in the Segovia Aqueduct, located in the busy Plaza del Azoguejo. Considered the most important Roman civil engineering work in Spain, it is the defining historical feature of the city, dating from the late 1st century. Next stop will be Calle Real, a pedestrian street which joins Plaza del Azoguejo to Playa Mayor, with lots of interesting monuments. One of them, San Martin church (15th century), is one of the best examples of a Roman church in the city. Then, we will reach Plaza Mayor, a large square which serves today as a meeting place for tourist and locals alike. Next, we will visit the Alcazar of Segovia, an impressive fortress located on top of a rock. Finally, we will have the chance to admire the view of the Cathedral from the outside.
