Access to the Virtual Campus (Premium learning environment) with @noucm account

To access your course on the Virtual Campus, students must first complete the enrollment procedures indicated in the course information (payments, self‑enrollment, etc.).

 

If you do NOT belong to the Complutense University of Madrid and you have another email account such as @gmail, @hotmail…, you must follow these steps:

 

 

 

  1. Self‑register using that external email account.(@noucm)

  2. You will receive an email to verify that the address provided is correct and to activate your account.

  3. Once you have received confirmation of your enrollment in the course, you will be able to access it through the Virtual Campus Access Portal (PACV).


IMPORTANT NOTES:

 

  • The UCM only allows one single identification per person, and you must use a valid document that proves your identity. 

If you already have a UCM account, you are going to enroll or be hired soon at UCM, you MUST NOT self‑register, as you will access with your UCM account.

 

  • If you don't have a @ucm account, you can register your @noucm account (e.g. @gmail, @hotmail, etc) but please be aware:

 

- This @noucm account is only valid to access the Virtual Campus.

- You will be able to access only the Premium leraning enviroment.  It does not grant access to any other UCM services (email, Wi‑Fi, etc.) neither to other learning enviroments of Virtual Campus.

 

  • If you have already registered using another @noucm account, you will get an error. You must use the account that you already registered using a valid identity document. You can use the Recover password option with the email address previously registered.

 


 

1 - Self‑registration with an external account (that is, @noucm)

 

  • Go to the PACV access page for non‑UCM users https://pacv.ucm.es/pub/login and select the option ‘Register a non‑UCM account as a new user of the Premium Teaching environment'.

 

 

 


 

2 - Activate the registered account

You will receive an email to verify that the address provided is correct and to activate the account.

 

VERY IMPORTANT: When you register, you have one hour to confirm the email address you provided. After that time, if there is no confirmation, the registration data will be deleted and you will need to repeat the self-registration process from start (step 1).

3 – Access to your courses:

 

Once you have received confirmation of your enrollment in the course, you will be able to access your course from the Virtual Campus Access Portal (PACV):

 

 

 

 

In both cases, the screen that allows you to sign in with your account will appear:

If after validating your account and accessing PACV you do not see any available spaces, contact the course managers and/or instructors so they can add you to the space.

 

NOTE: It may also be the case that the managers and/or instructors have not yet created the space.
