Emilia Wedel

PhD candidate

As a pharmacist, my vocation is Public Health. That is why I am particularly pleased to be able to research antimicrobial resistance as a Marie Curie PhD student in the CARTNET project (Combatting Antimicrobial Resistance Training Network).

My line of research is AMR in small plasmids with the aim of understanding the adaptation of plasmids to new hosts and interfering with the dissemination of resistance genes. Apart from science, I love sports and spending time in the mountains going hiking.
