 PaCor 2025 ((Parallel) Corpus-Based Approaches to Language and Data: Generative AI Applications in Focus)

PaCor 2025 ((Parallel) Corpus-Based Approaches to Language and Data: Generative AI Applications in Focus), held at the Universidad de Valladolid, explored the intersections between generative artificial intelligence and linguistic corpora. The event highlighted how corpus-based and AI-driven approaches are reshaping research and professional practices in language, translation, and education, emphasizing ethical considerations, multilingual communication, and continuous corpus adaptation. A forthcoming special issue of Alfinge will feature interdisciplinary contributions addressing these topics through empirical, corpus-based, and computational perspectives.
