ATLAS 2025 (Advanced Technologies for Language Analysis Systems)
ATLAS (Advanced Technologies for Language Analysis Systems) is an international teaching and research network established in June 2024 at the University of La Rioja as part of the Transformation Plan’s Digital Economy of Language and AI initiative. It brings together researchers and educators from around the world to advance language technologies through collaboration in natural language processing, computational linguistics, and artificial intelligence. ATLAS fosters interdisciplinary exchange, promotes cutting-edge research, and develops educational programs for future language technology specialists. One of its main goals is to support academic mobility, joint funding applications, and the creation of attractive, AI-related curricula in computational linguistics. The network emphasizes collaboration across geographic and linguistic boundaries to improve human-AI interaction. Interdisciplinarity and efficiency are at the core of ATLAS’s mission, involving linguists, scientists, and engineers. It also promotes the development of sustainable AI solutions that can be managed by medium-sized institutions, focusing on both resource-rich and under-resourced languages.
