Research Teams and Lines

Our Group

Our research group focuses its efforts on studying the development and evolution of the vertebrate central nervous system. We adopt an integrated approach, using several study models, which are intended to reflect fundamental diversification points in the evolutionary scale of vertebrates.

Currently, we are focusing on the evolutionary analysis of the forebrain, using transcriptomic, genoarchitectural, cell type and connectomic analyses.
