Was born in Madrid, Spain. She obtained her BsC in Chemistry in 2007 at Universidad Complutense of Madrid. She started her work based on selective functionalization of fullerenes at the same university and obtained the PhD in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Nazario Martín and Dr. Salvatore Filippone. From 2011 until 2014 she got a postdoctoral researcher position at UTEP (Texas, USA) in the group of Prof. Luis Echegoyen, where she investigated endohedral fullerenes reactivity. She is currently working in Nazario Martín Group and her interests are focus on asymmetric synthesis of fullerenes derivatives.
