Marina Garrido Serrano was born in Segovia, Spain, in 1990. She obtained her degree in Chemistry in 2012 at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2013 she started her Ph. D studies under supervision of Prof. Mª Ángeles Herranz and Prof. Nazario Martin. She is researching about functionalization of carbon nanotubes and graphene.
