Laura Castilla Castellano

I studied both Mathematics and Computer Science (2016-2021) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). I was introduced to quantum computing during my third year, when I first learned about quantum algorithms. Two years later, I studied the Learning with Errors (LWE) problem, under the supervision of David Pérez García.

In 2022 I finished an MSc in Advanced Mathematics at UCM, where I studied the Quantum Homomorphic Encryption (QHE) problem, supervised by Angelo Lucia. I also worked at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) as a research assistant under the guidance of Carlos González Guillén.

In September 2022, I joined the group as a PhD student under the supervision of Angelo Lucia.
